Actor Arya’s upcoming forest based thriller with Manjapai director Ragavan has been titled Kadamban. In the film, Arya is part of a forest tribe and his character is named Kadamban. 

The movie is now in post-production stage and is expected to premiere in cinemas this summer. Meanwhile, the makers released a minute-long trailer of the film, which has become an internet rage since its release on Thursday evening.

The trailer was launched by Madhavan and Suriya on social media. The well-cut trailer introduces Arya as Kadamban and his movement to save the jungles from the clutches of business corporates who attempt to destroy them for development projects.

Produced by RB Choudhury’s Super Good Films, Kadamban will be distributed by Arya’s The Show People. The action drama stars Catherine Tresa as Arya’s love-interest. The star cast also comprises Y Gee Mahendran, Madhuvanti Arun and Super Subburayan. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for this film.
