Arya, one of the co-producers of The Great Father, is playing an important role in the film. Apart from Arya, Shaam of 12B fame will also be sharing screen space with the legendary Mollywood star Mammootty. Incidentally, the film will mark Shaam’s debut in the Malayalam film industry.

While Sneha will be seen playing Mammootty’s wife, Baby Anikha has been roped in to play his daughter. The Great Father, which is directed by debutant Haneef Adeni, also has Malavika Mohanan, Mia George, IM Vijayan and Manikandan Achari in the star cast.

The magnum opus, touted to be a summer release, is expected to hit the screens on March 30th. It is being produced jointly by actors Prithviraj, Arya, cinematographer Santosh Sivan and Shaji for the banner August Cinemas. The filmmakers are planning to release this thriller across the globe and are reportedly aiming for a same day release.
