If everything goes as planned, director Vishnuvardhan will reunite with Thala Ajith Kumar for a new project. The duo is best known for working on Billa and Aarambam, and is apparently discussing a new script which might be locked soon. Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Vishnu said that he’s not at liberty to even comment on the project.

“If the project is confirmed, I would be the first person to tell it to the world. As of now, I am not in a position to comment on it.” However, a few reliable sources say otherwise and have confirmed that talks have been initiated on both the ends. Since Ajith has already signed his next project after Vivegam, even if he agrees to work with Vishnu, the project might materialize only next year. In the interim, anything can happen and the project might be even dropped.

Last heard, Vishnu was working on a historic subject and that he could only make it with a leading star. It has to be seen if Ajith will take out time for the director who gave him his biggest hit.
