Anonymous vows to avenge Charlie Hebdo shootings by hacking extremist websites

The News Minute | January 10, 2015 | 4:20 pm ISTHacktivist group Anonymous has just released a video where it has vowed to attack terrorist websites and hack the social media accounts of people linked to the terror outfit as revenge for the Charlie Hebdo attack.According to a report in The Guardian, the group posted a video in its website “declaring war” against terrorist groups. The message which is in French is addressed to "Al Qaeda, Islamic State and other terrorists"The group also posted a message to Pastebin, also in French and addressed to the “enemies of the freedom of expression”.The video is narrated by a man wearing a Guy Fawkes mask - which is synonymous with the group and with his voice obscured. It calls the operation #OpCharlieHebdo.The video which already has 1.8 million views has been circling various social networks since it was uploaded.TweetFollow @thenewsminute
