Anirudh’s ‘pucca mass’ song stuns ‘Kanchana’ actor Raghava Lawrencce

Written by : TNM

Actor-choreographer Raghava Lawrencce is busy wrapping Shivalinga, the eponymous remake of the Kannada hit, which is directed by P. Vasu. Composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in for a special song in the film which has apparently stunned Lawrencce, who took to Twitter and described the song as a ‘pucca mass’ song.

Known to sing regularly for tunes set by other composers, this is the first time Anirudh has sung in a Lawrencce film. Sharing the news on his Twitter page, Lawrencce thanked Anirudh for the song which the team believes will be another chartbuster. The film, tipped to be on the lines of Chandramukhi, also stars Ritika Singh and Vadivelu in important roles. With a brief portion left to be shot in Bangkok, the film is gearing up for a January 2017 release.

Even though it’s a remake, director Vasu is said to have made changes to the script to suit Tamil audiences and sensibilities. While the Kannada version had all the focus on superstar Shivrajkumar, the remake will shine the spotlight with equal importance on everybody. Vasu’s son Shakti plays a crucial role, apart from the supporting cast of Bhanupriya, Urvashi and Radha Ravi.
