The first set of photos from the film Sye Raa is out and has the movie buffs excited. Posting it online, Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted:

Chiranjeevi sports a thick beard and twirled moustache. Big B has suggestively deemed his looks with long beard and hair to be cumbersome. He called it to be "the trials and tribulations of professional necessity" on his blog.

It is now certain that the Big B is playing an important role in the film and as speculated he will be seen Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’s mentor and guru. While leaving for Hyderabad, Amitabh shared the news with his many fans as he wrote on his blog

On this blog, he wrote: “Dear friend Chiranjeevi, that majestic super star and icon from the world of Andhra and Telugu cinema, requests for a guest appearance in his magnum opus, on a most valiant period character that he portrays, and I agree .. so am off to begin its shoot in Hyderabad .. in a few hours .. the first look tests of which seem to be somewhat , thus .. as may be noticed .. the beard and the hair and the head, all in unison to make my working life a running hell , is back .. despite the swear of ‘never wanting to work in a film which required me to be of beard and wig’ ..”

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is reported to be a trilingual film which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. In the film, Chiru plays the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who took on the British in the film and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a cameo role but a powerful one at that.

Directed by Surendhar Reddy, this biopic on the freedom fighter has a bevy of stars in the cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Sudeep. The magnum opus is being produced by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company. Sye Raa is expected to hit the silver screens later this year.
