A pic of Kannada star Ambareesh and actor Suhasini Maniratnam on a shopping spree has been making rounds online for some time now. Explaining what the pic was about, Ambi Ning Vayassaytho’s director Gurudatha Ganiga told the Times of India in an interview, “The film revolves around a middle-aged pair, who were in love once upon a time and reconnect many years later. This sequence is from a montage song after they meet and has them shopping and hanging out.”

Sudeep is bankrolling the movie under his own banner Kiccha Creations along with Jack Manju’s KSK Showreel Productions. It may be mentioned here that Ambi Ning Vayassaytho is the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Pa Pandi, which marked the directorial debut of the National Award winning actor Dhanush. Sudeep also plays a cameo in the film and will be seen playing the younger version of Ambareesh. The star cast also includes Shruti Hariharan in a pivotal role.

The technical crew of Ambi Ning Vayassaytho includes Arjun Janya for music, Jebin Jacob for cinematography and Kiran for editing.

It may be mentioned here that in the Tamil version, Raj Kiran played the lead role that Ambareesh is doing in the Kannada remake. He received critical acclaim for his performance in the film.

Pa Paandi / Ambi Ning Vayassaytho is about a retired stunt master who lives with his son’s family. One fine day, he sets out on a journey to find his lost first love and what happens during this road trip forms the rest of the story. The shooting for Ambi Ning Vayassaytho is currently on and the film is expected to hit the theatres soon.

Recently we reported that Ambareesh’s son Abhishek is donning the greasepaint and following in the footsteps of his star parents. Titled Amar, his debut film will be helmed by Nagashekar and produced by Sandesh under his banner Sandesh Combines.
