Ambareesh, Sumalatha’s son, to make acting debut?

Star couple Ambareesh and Sumalatha’s son, Abhishek Gowda, will be making his acting debut in the film industry.

Sources say that the star kid is keen on following the footsteps of his parents and has expressed his desire to act.

Following this decision, Abhishek Gowda has been advised to undergo rigorous training in acting. The youngster has completed his masters in Political Science from a university in England, report sources.

Ambareesh, known for acting in Kannada movies predominantly, is a politician as well. He was the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting from 2006 to 2007 and was the Member of Parliament from the Mandya Constituency from 1998 to 2009.

He also served as the Minister of Housing, Karnataka Government in the Cabinet of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah from May 2013 to June 2016.

Ambareesh married actor Sumalatha on 8 December 1991 and the couple has a son Abhishek.

The couple has acted together in films such as Aahuti, Avatara Purusha, Sri Manjunatha and Kallarali Hoovagi.
