Ajay Devgn in talks for ‘RRR’?

Written by : Digital Native

Director SS Rajamouli’s next film after the massive success of the Baahubali franchise is RRR. Though there is no clear interpretation about the title, sources say that it could be Rama Ravana Rajyam. While speculation about the title is going on, there is another report surfacing that is quite interesting. There is a buzz that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is in talks to play a pivotal role in the film. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement.

The first schedule of RRR went on the floors recently with the director canning the all important action sequence featuring the heroes – Ram Charan Teja and Jr NTR. There is no clarity on the women leads of the film or about the technical crew. One thing for certain right now is that SS Rajamouli’s close relative MM Keeravani will be composing the tunes for this flick.

Rajamouli had announced this multi-starrer last year right after he completed Baahubali – The Conclusion and has been working on it since then. The photo shoot of this film happened in the US earlier this year and now the director is busy with the shooting. The first schedule of RRR began recently and its release date is scheduled to be Sankranthi 2020. RRR is a multi-starrer that will have Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja in the lead roles. This has film buffs excited because this is the first time that the two stars are teaming up onscreen.

RRR is a high budget film that is bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments. The budget of this film is reportedly around Rs 300 crore.

It may be noted here that Ajay Devgn was earlier in talks for a role in the Shankar directed Indian 2 but it apparently did not work out for various reasons.
