After Siddharth, Raashi Khanna teams up with Atharvaa

Written by : TNM

Most popular for her role in John Abraham’s Madras Café, Raashi Khanna made a splash in the southern industry with the Telugu film, Oohalu Gusagusalade, and followed it up with films such as Jil, Shivam and Bengal Tiger.

It wasn’t long ago that she was signed on to pair with Siddharth in the Tamil comedy, Saithan Ka Bachha, and in less than a couple of weeks, it has been revealed that she has also been signed on for Nayanthara starrer Imaikaa Nodigal, which stars Atharvaa in the titular role.

The project, which will be helmed by Demonte Colony fame Ajay Gnanamuthu, will go on the floors next month. It’s tipped to be a thriller, and it features Nayanthara in the role of a police commissioner. Even though Nayanthara appears only for 25 minutes in the film, she didn’t mind taking up the role because of the importance it has in the story.

Produced by Cameo Films, the film will have music by Hip-Hop Tamizha and RD Rajasekar has been roped in to crank the camera.
