After Samantha, Aadhi Pinisetty's first look in 'U Turn' out

Only a few days after Samantha Akkineni’s first look in U Turn was revealed, Aadhi Pinisetty’s look in the film is out.

While Samantha plays an investigative journalist in the film investigating mysterious murders, Aadhi plays a police officer.

Apart from Samantha Akkineni and Aadhi Pinisetty, the film’s star cast also includes Rahul Ravindran and Bhumika Chawla who will be seen in pivotal roles.

The film is directed by Pawan Kumar and is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

Poorna Chandra Tejaswi is composing the music for U Turn and Niketh Bommi and Suresh Arumugam will be in-charge of cinematography and editing, respectively.

The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi and Rambabu Bandaru under the banners V Y Combines and Srinivasa Silver Screen. The team recently completed shooting the talkie portions and will soon wrap up the song sequences as well.

U Turn is the remake of the Kannada film with the same title, which the silver screens in 2016 and starred Shraddha Srinath in the lead role and Roger Narayan, Dilip Raj and Radhika Chetan in supporting roles.

Samantha will be reprising Shraddha’s role in the remake.

U Turn is about the mysterious death of motorists who break a traffic rule on a particular flyover in Bengaluru. Samantha plays the journalist investigating the deaths. U Turn was earlier remade in Malayalam as Careful and released in 2017.

According to reports, the director has plans to remake the film in Hindi as well. He will begin the project in Bollywood soon after U Turn’s release in Tamil and Telugu. The bilingual will be out on September 13 this year.
