After Sai Pallavi, Sekhar Kammula to coach Naga Chaitanya in Telangana dialect

Ace director Sekhar Kammula made Fidaa with Sai Pallavi which went on to become a hit. The film had Sai Pallavi speaking the Telangana slang of Telugu, which is not an easy feat. But with the guidance of the director, the actor was able to do it perfectly.

The director is now reportedly making another film with actor Naga Chaitanya in which he will be seen speaking in the Telangana dialect.

However, as Naga Chaitanya is not well versed in the slang, Sekhar Kammula himself has decided to train the actor. The director is a native of Telangana himself.

Of the film’s progress, we hear that the director intends to complete the film’s shooting in three schedules. Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are bankrolling the project under their banner. On the commencement of the shooting, producer Ram Mohan Rao had said, “A 10-day schedule has begun today in a specially constructed village set in Secunderabad. Then, another schedule in a rural backdrop followed by a long schedule in Hyderabad and that's a wrap.”

We hear that the film is a romantic tale of a boy and a girl moving into the city from the village and what ensues further. Detailing about the film in an interview to Cinemaexpress, the director had said earlier, “Naga Chaitanya has been trying to master the Telangana dialect for his part. He's completely surrendered himself with great interest to pull off his part. Also, Sai Pallavi could spring a surprise for the audience. I believe the lead pair's performances will stand out.” Pavan, a product of AR Rahman's KM Music Conservatory, is composing music for this flick.
