The theatrical trailer of the Adivi Sesh starrer Goodachari is out and is garnering the attention of film buffs in a big way. The trailer that runs well over one minute has all the elements – romance, action and emotions.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film is bankrolled by Abhishek Picture, People Media Factory and Vista Dream Merchants. The film is gearing up for release on August 3rd.

While the film’s hero Adivi Sesh has come up with the story for Goodachari, it was written by Abburi Ravi. Sobhita Dhulipala plays the female lead in the flick with the cast also including Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore, Madhu Shalini, Ravi Prakash, Supriya Yarlagadda, Rakesh Varre and Anish Kuruvilla in supporting roles.

Madhu Shalini’s look in the movie was unveiled a few days ago and has upped the curiosity levels of film buffs. Apparently, the actor plays a RAW agent and her look in the film is something to watch out for.

Sricharan Pakala has composed music for this flick while Shaneil Deo is wielding the camera and Garry Bh is editing the film.

Touted to be a spy thriller, Adivi Sesh who came up with the story for Goodachari told in an interview to The Hindu, “I cannot compete with Bond films that have a 40-year legacy and over $200 million budget. Neither can I compete with the home-grown Goodachari 116 starring actor Krishna. But I can pay homage to these.”

On roping in Supriya for the film, Adivi Sesh told in the interview, “When I first asked Supriya to act, it felt like water splashing against a rock. By and by, the rock had to give in as the water’s force increased.”

Adivi Sesh began his acting career with a cameo role in Sontham in 2002 and he has directed a few films as well. Adivi Sesh’s last film before this was Ami Thumi which hit the silver screens last year.
