Actor Rajasekhar has reportedly told in an interview that he is keen on doing a family film. What is surprising about this is that he intends to have his whole family involved in the movie. It is well known that the star’s wife Jeevitha is a seasoned actor and both their daughters have already ventured into the film industry.

Unfortunately, their eldest daughter Shivani’s debut film did not take off well but younger daughter Shivatmika’s maiden film is progressing well. According to Rajasekhar, he wants both the daughters to focus on their acting and gain some experience before the family drama actually commences. We hear that Kalyan C will be bankrolling the project.

It may be noted here that a few months ago there was an announcement that Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 States: The Story of My Marriage will be adapted as a film in Telugu with Adivi Sesh and Shivani, daughter of Dr Rajashekar roped in to play the lead pair. But now we hear that the producer of this film, has scrapped this project. Apparently, the film’s producer MLV Satyanarayana and director Venkat Kuncham are having some creative differences following which the former is planning to reshoot the entire film with a new director.

On the other hand, Shivatmika, daughter of Rajasekar and Jeevitha, and Anand Deverakonda, brother of Vijay Deverakonda, are pairing up in Dorasani. Shivatmika plays the title role in this film which is about the daughter of a landlord, known as Dora in Telugu. Dorasani, which is directed by KVR Mahendra, is being bankrolled by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Yash Rangineni. The technical crew of this flick includes Prashanth Vihari for music and Navin Nooli for editing. Dorasani is a romantic tale set in the 1980s and the story will be told completely in the Telangana dialect.
