Actor Prasanna reveals why his Mollywood debut was delayed

Prasanna is all set to make his acting debut in the Malayalam film industry with Brother’s Day. Recently, the star’s look in the film was revealed and went on to fetch positive reviews. He looks stylish and has a meaty role to play in the film, we hear. Apparently, he plays the villain in this film.

However, in an interview to the Times of India, Prasanna recalled that an offer to make his debut in Mollywood came to him several years ago but he could not take it up due to date clashes. He had told in the interview, “I was approached for Pramani, but I had to shoot abroad for a Tamil movie for two months and couldn’t do that. Lal Jose sir also called me for Neelathamara, but again there was a date clash.” 

Well, the wait seems to be have been well worth it as Prasanna has bagged a performance-oriented role in Brother’s Day.

Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the lead role in Brother’s Day and his look in the film was revealed a couple of months ago which went viral. In the poster, the star is seen sporting a beard and leaning on a Royal Enfield bike with a happy-go-lucky smile on his face. Reports are that this will be a complete commercial entertainer.

Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn will be making his directorial debut with Brother’s Day. The team had returned from Greece where they had wrapped up a schedule recently. Listin Stephen will be bankrolling the film under his banner Magic Frames on a budget of Rs 15 crore. Miya, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prayaga Rose Martin and Aima Sebastian have been roped in to play the female leads in this film.
