Baahubali, which turned out to be a phenomenal success across the globe, has catapulted the star status of its lead actor Prabhas.

The film was made in various languages including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and this was instrumental in his pan Indian appeal surging higher.

With the release of Baahubali: The Beginning a couple of years ago and Baahubali: The Conclusion on April 28 this year, Prabhas is now free to move over to other projects.

The actor is currently busy playing the lead role in Saaho, which is being directed by Sujeeth Reddy. The shooting commenced recently and is progressing at a rapid pace so that it could hit the marquee next year.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Prabhas will be making a cameo appearance in the Hindi flick Khamoshi. The film has Prabhu Deva and Tammannah playing the lead pair and Prabhas will be seen in a guest role.

Interestingly, Tammannah had played Mahendra Baahubali’s ladylove in Baahubali: the Beginning and had shared the screen space with Prabhu Deva in Devi.

Directed by Chakri Toleti, Khamoshi is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kolaiyuthir Kaalam.

In the movie, Tammmannah plays a speech impaired person. The film was shot extensively in London where the team was stationed for nearly 25 days to can the portions. Khamoshi is being shot with the 8K resolution camera making it technically slick.

Its Tamil version, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, which was directed by Chakri Toleti, starred Nayanthara in the central role.

The film was produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Yuvan Shankar Raja under the banners Pooja Entertainment and YSR Films.

Nayanthara received rave reviews for her performance in this murder mystery and Tammannah is sure to follow suit.
