Parvatii is upbeat about her upcoming release Nimir, in which she shares the screen space with Udhayanidhi Stalin, Namitha Pramod and veteran director J Mahendran. While she had just two film releases last year, Parvatii is expecting to add on to her filmography by signing up more films this year.

On working in Nimir, she had told that it might not to be the most performance-oriented film in her career but she is glad to have played the role. Playing a village girl, Parvatii will be appearing in a deglamourized look but she has said in an interview that all she needed to do was to focus on looking good and the results have come out well.

Working with the ace director Priyadarshan, Parvatii had this to say about him in the interview, “It was a privilege to work with a legendary filmmaker like him. I was surprised by how cool and composed he was, while managing to be extremely efficient.”

Sharing the screen space with Udhayanidhi for the first time, Parvatii said that he is very simple and was co-operative throughout.

There have been reports that Nimir, which is the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Maheshinte Prathikaaram, has undergone a lot of changes to suit the tastes of the Tami audiences. Reiterating the same, Parvatii said that though the crux of the film would remain the same, a lot of changes have been incorporated to the script and with new actors onboard, it would create a lot of differences.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Nimir is bankrolled by Santhosh T. Kuruvilla under his banner Moonshot Entertainments. The film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role and he will be reprising the role done by Fahad Faasil. in the original. The star cast also includes Samuthirakani, M. S. Bhaskar, Karunakaran and others in the supporting cast.
