Actor Kasthuri enters ‘Bigg Boss’ Tamil as wildcard entrant

Written by : TNM Staff

Seven weeks into season 3, Bigg Boss Tamil has managed to hold people’s attention and remains a topic widely discussed during the day by fans. Saravanan’s "ejection" from the house on Monday’s episode came as a surprise but many lauded Vijay TV’s decision to remove the actor who confessed to having molested women in public spaces in the past.

Now going by the latest clip shared by Vijay TV on their Twitter page, actor Kasthuri will be entering the house this week as the 17th contestant. She will be a wildcard entrant.

Just last week rumours began doing the rounds, allegedly after a leaked conversation between Kasthuri and the channel’s executive, that the actor would soon be joining the house. Yet Kasthuri has remained tight-lipped on the topic neither confirming nor denying it.

On August 5, the actor answered cryptically to a question posed by another user – “I thought since you made no reply, you had gone into Bigg Boss house.” To this, Kasthuri answered with “They say it might happen but it might not. They say it might not happen but it will. #Tomorrow is ours.”

In an interview published on Thursday by SouthScope Tamil, the actor answered a question on what she would do if she entered the Bigg Boss house. “I’ve made a lot of comments on the show itself. Saravanan’s comment gained national importance and they removed him from the show. I was upset. He has apologised, in fact. He didn’t say it for his pride. But if the show decided to remove him, they need not have shown it on air. The channel has a responsibility. Kamal sir also took it like a joke, audience too clapped. Will they continue without audience from now? If I enter into the house I will ask Bigg Boss some unpleasant questions,” she says in the interview.

Actor Vijayalakshmi Feroz was a wildcard entrant in Season 2 while Season 1 had four wildcard entrants – Bindhu Madhavi, Suja Varunee, Harish Kalyan and Kaajal Pasupathi. With Kasthuri’s entry, the total number of contestants in the house is now 11.
