Actor Jayasurya’s Punyalan Private Limited would be released on November 17. The team is working to stick to the deadline and release the film as planned, say sources.

In Punyalan Private Limited, Jayasurya will be reprising the role, Joy Thakkolkaran, he had done in the prequel.

The star cast also includes Aju Varghese, Dharmajan, Vijayaraghavan (actor), Guinness Pakru and Sreejith Ravi.

Music for the film has been composed by Anand Madhusoodanan with the camera work done by Vishnu Narayanan and V Saajan signed up for editing.

The project is being bankrolled by Jayasurya and Ranjith Shankar under their banner Dreams N Beyond and it will be distributed by Punyalan Cinemas.

Making an announcement about Punyalan Cinemas, their distribution company, Ranjith Shankar had posted on his Facebook page earlier, “The idea behind Punyalan Cinemas is to release our films and others films which we believe in. A humble step into the big ocean of cinema again.”

He had said in an interview that he finally decided on Punyalan Private Limited after going through a number of stories. The director went on to add that this political satire has a strong subject. With the release date of the film announced to be November 17, fans of Jayasurya and Ranjith Shankar fans are eagerly waiting for it.

Director Ranjith Shankar and actor Jayasurya earlier made hit flicks like Punyalam Agarbattis in 2013 and continued their association with Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam and Pretham.
