Dhanush has always praised the efforts of those who put in a lot of hard work in their film projects. The National Award winning actor has a penchant for picking up the best talents for his films as well.

On the release of the Tamil movie Ratsasan, Dhanush had heaped praises on the team for coming up with an exemplary thriller. He had tweeted: “Raatchasan .. wow .. what a well made thriller. Brilliant and stylish making. Not for the weak hearted though. Edge of a seat thriller. Was engrossed throughout the film. Gripping. Congrats to the whole team.”

This psychological thriller has been directed by Ramkumar of Mundasupatti fame. Starring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles, the film has Suzane George, Sanjay, Kaali Venkat, Ramdoss and Kumar in supporting roles.

Ghibran is the music director for this venture with PV Sankar being the cinematographer and San Lokesh the editor. Ratsasan was bankrolled by G Dilli Babu and R Sridhar under the banner Axess Film Factory.

With Ratsasan getting a good word of mouth from the industry people and positive reviews, it is doing well at the theatres. Meanwhile, we hear that Dhanush’s next film will be helmed by Ramkumar. The director is busy with the prep work and the project will start rolling once Dhanush is done with his current assignments.

Dhanush’s ambitious film, Vada Chennai is slated for release this month and he has the Gautham Menon directorial Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta also gearing up for release later this year. The star is expected to complete the projects on hands before shifting his focus on the Ramkumar directorial. More details about this project including its genre and star cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
