Written by : TNM

According to reports doing the rounds, veteran cinematographer Shamdat may be wielding the megaphone for Mammootty’s next. Having cranked the camera for the star’s films such as Venicile Vyapari and Pramani, Shamdat shares a good rapport with him.

The cinematographer made his debut in Mollywood with the film Premayanamaha in 2004 and has since worked with stalwarts like Mammootty and Kamal Haasan. He was the cameraman for Kamal’s Uttama Villain and Vishwaroopam.

Mammootty and Shamdat have reportedly discussed a story and the former has given the go ahead. We hear that Shamdat is busy with the groundwork to get the project on to the floors.

Mammootty is currently busy with The Great Father, directed by Haneef Adeni and Puthan Panam directed by Ranjith.
