The News Minute | April 7, 2015 | 2:06 p.m. IST A man who once donated the now iconic blue WagonR to the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, in 2013 now wants it back. Kundan Sharma is a software engineer and a UK-based AAP supporter who says he is now disillusioned by the party and that he had donated the car to the party and not to Kejriwal. The car had been in the spotlight and even made international headlines with the CM reportedly holding a cabinet meeting in the hatchback during his ill-fated term the last time around. Kejriwal, who had refused to travel in a government vehicle back then, has reportedly given up the car and now travels in an Innova. According to Indiatimes, the car was given to Naveen Jaihind, who was the party's contestant from the Rohtak constituency in the 2014 Haryana Assembly elections. Sharma, in his tweets has asked for a refund of his and his wife, Sharadha’s, donation to the party citing a loss of faith in politics after the emergence of a recent rift in the party. But in a letter written on January 3, 2013, Kejriwal said that AAP was now the sole owner of the car and that Sharadha no longer had “control or accountability for the car”.
