The Telugu film RX 100 is all set to be remade in Tamil and Aadhi Pinisetty has been roped in to play the lead role. He will be reprising the role played by Karthikeya Gummakonda in the Tamil version. Interestingly, Payal Rajput, the heroine in the Telugu version, received rave reviews for her performance. With Aadhi accepting the role, he is sure to carve a niche for himself and ensure that the audiences take note of the hero’s performance in the remake. Written and directed by Ajay Bhupati, RX 100 was produced by Ashok Reddy Gummakonda. The film was made on a budget of Rs 4.2 crore and went on to collect Rs 21 crore at the box office.

“The film is titled RX 100 because the bike has a special sound, very raw. The love story between the lead couple, too, is very raw. When I saw the film, I felt it was more suitable for our Tamil audience. And that’s one of the reasons why I wanted to be a part of this project. We will begin pre-production work soon as the plan is to start shooting from mid-October,” Aadhi reportedly told the Times of India.

Aadhi Pinisetty has had a good year so far with two film releases. He was seen in pivotal roles in the Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi and Ram Charan Teja’s Rangasthalam. His role, particularly in the latter, won him accolades for his performance. The actor will have two more film releases this year. While one is a bilingual called U Turn, the remake of the Kannada movie with same title, being made in Tamil and Telugu, the other is a Tollywood flick Neevevaro.
