Despite growing conversation about them, the Indian community does remain wary of the LGBTQ+ community.

However, one tends to forget that Indian tradition and mythology are full of references to gender fluid individuals.

For instance, Narada and Krishna often donned women’s clothing and took on gender fluid roles.
