Although it was rumoured that Ajith was headed to London for a holiday, it turns out he'd never planned to leave the country. 

This is a much needed break for Ajith who, after having undergone a surgery recently, has been recuperating.

"Since he starts working on his next project from June, he decided to take a break and unwind with his family.

Ajith's next film, tentatively titled Thala 57, will mark his third time collaboration with director Siva in a row, after Veeram and Vedalam.

Anirudh has been roped in to compose the tunes, while the rest of the cast including the leading lady and other technicians are yet to be finalized.
