Written by : TNM

Suriya's 24 directed by Vikram Kumar is creative waves due to its concept of time travel. Suriya dons extremely distinct avatars of an assassin and a scientist.

Filmmaker Vikram Kumar shot to the limelight with his magnum opus ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ that was a global box office hit.

Soon after the release of this film, he became the favourite of almost all the actors and producers. It was at that moment that he pitched a sci-fi thriller to Chiyaan Vikram, but the film was dropped.

He also requested to dub for the Tamil version of ‘Manam’, but it didn’t succeed and the talks pertaining to Manam remake also didn’t proceed further. Finally, the script of ’24’ was narrated and the project took off on a grand budget.

The film, based on time travel, has Suriya appearing in three different roles. Samantha and Nithya Menen are playing the female leads and AR Rahman’s music has already created a sensation.

According to latest reports, the film is getting ready for release on May 6 and the premieres could be held on May 5.
