Rana Daggubati's Bhallala Deva will not be married in Baahubali 2

Written by : TNM

Much to the disappointment of Baahubali fans, Rana Daggubati’s character Bhallala Deva won’t have a female companion, in the second installment of the franchise, according to some reports.

Over the last few weeks, actresses such as Shriya Saran and Lavanya Tripathi were rumoured to be cast as Rana’s wife in the film, and although these reports were rubbished, it still wasn’t clear if the team had roped in someone else to play Rana’s love interest in Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Rana, however, has revealed that he has only time to romance the throne, and that he won’t have a wife in the film. He also clarified that if there’s a new addition to the cast, the makers would eventually unveil, because there’s no reason to hide it.

The actor was unanimously appreciated for his mean role in the first part. He promises that his role in the second part will be meaner and more villainous than the first, and that audiences are in for a surprise when the film hits the screens in April 2017.

Meanwhile, Rana is busy wrapping up work on his upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual Ghazi, which is touted to be India’s first submarine-based war film.
