An African-American man stumbled upon a ‘discovery’ that an automatic soap dispenser at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta was ‘racist,’ when it refused to dispense soap to him.

A YouTube video they uploaded on September 2 titled 'Whites Only?' shows the soap dispenser in the hotel that only worked when a fair skinned hand was placed under the sensor.

The 26-second video was seemingly meant as a silly joke, but little did they expect that it would go viral with over 1.7 million hits.

In fact, the response was so great that they put out a second video that was better planned and longer.
