In pictures: Photographer captures stunning portraits of women as they orgasm

Written by : TNM Staff

Lithuanian photographer Albert Pocej has been taking photographs professionally for a decade now. But one night, he had a dream which pointed to what his next project would be: capturing women as they reached the "highest point of physical pleasure".

"At first I thought it would be impossible. Finding the models was the most difficult part," Albert wrote in a Facebook post. He then proceeded to write to everyone he knew. But the responses varied from silence to refusals to them being too afraid.

Finally, however, he was able to rope in 20 women, five of whom later left when they found out that they weren’t going to be pretending. With those who remained, Albert captured these stunning photographs.

Albert posted the pictures on his Facebook page on September 10 and the album has been shared close to 200 times since.

He says that in some cases, he used time lapse photography so as to make his models more comfortable. In other cases, he manually clicked pictures of the women as they reached orgasm.

"Every human being is different, so are their orgasms. I wasn’t trying to make it any better as it is in life. I wanted to make those looking at these pictures to think. And clichés don’t make people think," he wrote.
