The distribution rights of Tollywood actor and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film 'Sardar Gabbar Singh' have been sold for an eye-popping 20 crores in the Nizam area of Hyderabad.

According to a report in IBT, distribution rights of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ in the Nizam area have been sold for a whopping amount, but Pawan Kalyan's film has failed to beat the record of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning.’

It is the highest price for a Pawan Kalyan film in the Nizam area. The film has beaten the records of "Attarintiki Daredi" and "Srimanthudu", which fetched Rs 13.80 crore and Rs 14.40 crore, respectively, from the Nizam rights, IBT reported.

The Nizam area is a significant location for film distribution because the highest revenue for a single area comes from this region.
