Mangalore priests, advocate develop a 'Catholic Worship Software'

The idea of Ephphatha was conceived by Team 'Ephphatha', comprising an advocate from Mangalore, M. P. Noronha, and four young priests of the Mangalore Diocese. A report in Bangalore Mirror states that Ephphatha 'is probably the first software for the Catholic Church.'The software supports three languages- English, Kannada and Konkani. The software includes dual screens for display and editing, four in-built Bible versions, Hymn lyrics apart from prayers in multiple languages. It also supports file import facilities and an overlay scroll bar, states catholicworship.org.The project has been developed by Pacesoft Technologies, Mangalore.Read more about Ephphatha here.
