The News Minute | December 7, 2014 | 05:45 pm IST Billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani's 27-storey and 400,000 sq. ft. residential mansion Antilia is considered to be one of the world's most expensive homes. Antilia sits on Altamount Road in Mumbai, one of the most expensive addresses in the world, and cost an estimated $1 billion to build, reports Business Insider. An infographic by CompareComp lists the world's ten most expensive homes. The list is based on a comparison of home values against the British Royal's residence. However, the report states that the Queen's palace 'is not the most ornate or opulent among palaces; Saudi royals and sheiks are known to live more lavishly, beating their European counterparts. But property value is not just about what the house is, but who lives in it. The Queen of England lends to the palace a value higher than the structure’s worth'. Calling these homes expensive however seems like an understatement. Here is the list of the 10 most expensive residences in the world according to CompareComp. Source: comparecamp Author: Chris Sibbet Visit our: Tumblr
