Nobody messes with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, as senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya learnt on Tuesday after he tweeted against the actor over his "extreme intolerance" comment, claiming that Khan's 'soul' was in Pakistan, despite living in India.

While speaking at an event on his 50th birthday on Monday, Shah Rukh Khan added his voice to the list of celebrities and intellectuals who have recently spoken about the ‘growing intolerance’ in the country and said “I do think there is intolerance. There is extreme intolerance.”

Vijayvargiya, a BJP general secretary and a former state minister from Madhya Pradesh, even labelled Khan an "anti-national" while saying ""If this is not anti-nationalist, then what is it. India is making a bid to become a permanent member of the United Nations and all the anti-Indian forces including Pakistan are creating a conspiracy."

What followed was backlash from hordes of his fan who took to twitter lambasting Kailash on Wednesday, with hordes of Shah Rukh Khan fans trending  #KailashVijayvargiyaLeaveIndia
