First trailer of 'Bombay Velvet' released

The News Minute | March 19, 2015 | 12:09 pm IST The first trailer of "Bombay Velvet", directed by Anurag Kashyap, was released on Thursday morning. The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, is about "an ordinary (who) man goes against all odds and forges his destiny to become a 'Big Shot'. Its the story of how one man's Dream becomes every man's Nightmare...", according to a description provided with the video on YouTube. Filmmaker Karan Johar will be seen playing a negative role for the first time in the film. "Bombay Velvet", which has been jointly produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star India, is set for release on May 15. Set in the 1960s, the film is reportedly an adaptation of Gyan Prakash's Mumbai Fables.The trailer has received over 15,000 views on YouTube till now. Watch it here:TweetFollow @thenewsminute
