Enough is enough, I have stopped acting so stop speculation, says Asin

South Indian actress Asin, who recently married Micromax co-owner Rahul Sharma in January this year has confirmed and made it clear that she has stopped working in the film industry and wrapped up all her professional commitments. 

In a statement on social media, the 30-year-old said:

"For all my media friends who still have not got the message, I’m once again reiterating that I have stopped taking up any assignments and have wrapped all my commitments before my wedding itself including my brand endorsements. Request people to stop making assumptions about my assignments and work as I’m not doing that at this stage. Had made this announcement before the wedding itself."

Asin bagged her first film in 2001 with Malayalam movie 'Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka'. She has also appeared in many Telugu and Tamil films and even bagged the Telugu Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She moved to Bollywood with her role in Ghajini (2008) opposite Aamir Khan.
