One doesn’t quite know what to make of this fact: Apparently, Indian people aren’t allowed to send letters by post, which is meant exclusively for the officials of government. This is according to an 1898 law. Civilians are supposed to send “documents”.This and other weird political laws across are listed in a report in The Independent. Another for instance, is that Zimbabwean citizens cannot make vent their anger at their president Robert Mugabe (if they’re angry with him) by making rude gestures or even statements as his motorcade passes by.
