Baahubali nominated for prestigious ‘Saturn Awards

Epic film 'Baahubali- The Beginning’ is once again in the news, as it has been nominated for the prestigious Saturn Awards.

The Saturn Awards have been presented by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror films since 1972 and are considered highly in recognizing and honouring multi-genre entertainment.

Baahubali will be competing for the Saturn Awards with Hollywood biggies like Star Wars, Mad Max and Jurassic World. 

S S Rajamouli's film Baahubali has been nominated in five categories viz. Best fantasy movie, Best music director-MM Keeravani, costume designer- Rama Rajamouli, supporting actress-Tamannah Bhatia and best production design-Sabhu Cyril, reported Greattelangaana.com



Actors Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannah Bhatia were seen in the lead roles.

Within five days of its release, the movie entered the 200 crore club. It has so far grossed worldwide collections of around Rs 700 crore.

Currently the Baahubali team is busy working on its sequel.

To extend the world of Baahubali beyond movies, Baahubali will also be launched into original comic books, novels, animation and video games.
