Allu Arjun aims for a hat-trick of hits with Sarainodu

Written by : TNM

After the success of Race Gurram and S/O Satyamurthy, both of which made the cut for the 50-crore club, Tollywood star Allu Arjun is hoping for a hat-trick with Sarainodu. The upcoming action film produced under the banner of Geetha Arts, and directed by Boyapati Srinu, sees Allu Arjun share the screen with Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa.

In the film, Catherine Tresa plays an MLA elected after her father, the chief minister of the state, dies. Allu Arjun plays the role of a young policeman posted as the MLA’s security officer. When she receives death threats, the hero cop must step in to keep the villains at bay.

The film features music composed by SS Thaman, and while the makers initially planned a grand audio launch, they eventually decided to release the audio of the movie directly into the market and on YouTube. The audio album was not the kind of blockbuster fans hoped it would be.

However, the recent release of the trailer and the poster for the film, as well as the pre-release event have created huge expectations for the movie itself, which is set for a grand release on April 22. The makers of the film are confident about its success, and Allu Arjun is looking to finally make into the 100-crore club.
