Mandy and John Stokes and their teenage children caught the alligator that weighed 1,011 pounds and was 15 feet long. This makes it the largest ever alligator killed in America. It took the Stokes family 10 hours to finish the operation.In 2011, an alligator weighing 838 pounds was killed in America.
