Tollywood actress Ramya Krishnan, who has given a stellar performance in the epic film Baahubali as Queen Sivagami, is ready to appear in a new avatar as a ghost in her upcoming film 'Rudraksha'. The film is directed by her husband Krishna Vamsi.

Ramya has teamed up with her husband after a long time. The duo last worked together in their film Sri Anjaneyam, which was released on 24 July 2004.

This role was originally offered to actor Prakash Raj but he couldn’t take it up due to clash of dates.

According to a report in IANS, “Rudraksha” will be high on special effects and nearly an hour of the film would be shot using computer graphics.

The film, which is expected to release this June, will also have actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Ramya will also be teaming up with South Indian actor Kamal Hassan in a forthcoming film, after almost a decade. They will be seen playing husband and wife in a family drama, which will be written by Kamal Hassan and directed by T.K. Rajeev Kumar.
