The rumour mills are abuzz with the recent development that actress Trisha’s marriage with businessman and producer Varun Manian has been called off. Manian and the actress got engaged on January 23 in a private ceremony and were to be married by the end of the year.People close to them say that things were not well between the two since Valentine’s Day. A source also told the Times of India that “the speculation that all was not well grew when Trisha stayed away from attending Varun's family function recently. The source however adds that those close to the duo have suggested that that they may eventually patch up.Varun Manian, in addition to being a businessman is also a producer of films. He has produced films such as Vaayamoodi Pesavum and Kaviya thalaivan. Trisha was supposed to act as the heroine of his next movie, which would be produced by Thiru, starring Jai as the hero, but she withdrew from the project, leading to the first of many disagreements, say sources from the Tamil film industry.Trisha was earlier reportedly in a relationship with actor Rana Daggubati.
