Actor Chiranjeevi’s 150th: Filming date fixed, here it is

Chiranjeevi's 150th film has created a lot of curiosity among fans as it marks Chiru's comeback after eight years, his last outing ebing "Shankar Dada Zindabad".  

The movie, titled ‘Kathilantodu’, is a remake of Tamil film Kaththi, and is directed by VV Vinayak. Ram Charan is producing this film under Konidela Productions. It is jointly produced by Lyca Productions.

The pre-production work is in full swing and the makers plan to commence regular shooting from June 6.

The crew recently zeroed in on Anushka Shetty as the film’s leading lady. Catherine Tresa has also been roped in for a song.

According to a source from the film’s camp, the ‘Megastar’ will sport a handlebar moustache possibly for the cop role. Chiranjeevi will be playing dual role in the film - one as a cop and one as a criminal.
