Vivo Y15 is the latest smartphone from the Vivo stable to hit the Indian market. The phone is being positioned by the company as a mid-segment device with some top-end and other moderate specifications and features.
To start with, the display is 6.35-inch LCD and a HD+ screen resolution of 1520x720pixels. An octa core MediaTek Helio P22SoC is the processor fitted and it will be supported with a RAM of 4GB. There are no other RAM variants to go with. The internal storage is pegged at 64GB. The Android Pie version 9 will be the operating system. Vivo has added its Fun Touch OS 9 as the skin and will be the UI riding over the stock Android.
Coming to the optics department, there is a modest triple camera setup in the rear, the lenses combination being 13MP+8MP+2MP, the last being a depth sensor and the in the front, no corners have been cut a full 16MP camera has been provided.
With this smartphone, the battery takes the cake with a powerful 5,000mAh one. There is a physical fingerprint on the rear panel. The Vivo Y15 will be issued in two colours, Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red.
