Realme is bringing its latest flagship smartphone to the Indian market next month. The Realme X2 Pro, as launched in China already, sports some top-of-the-shelf specifications and if the price of around Rs 33,000 is maintained in India too, this phone could give a tough fight to competition.

The Relame X2 Pro has a 6.5-inch full HD+ super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,400x1,080 pixels. The screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a new benchmark emerging in the smartphone display characteristics. There’s the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to the screen. Realme has gone for the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor for this phone. RAM support is available in three variants, 6, 8 and 12 GB with the storage variants too in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB options to go with these.

In the optics department, the Relame X2 Pro has a quad camera setup in the rear with the primary sensor being Samsung’s 64MP GW1 with a 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP wide angle camera and an 8MP macro lens. The front camera for selfies is 16MP. The battery under the hood is 4,000mAh and can support 50W Super VOOC fast charging. Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res audio, Tactile Linear Motor for better haptic feedback and Ultra-Linear dual speakers are some of the other features included in the Realme X2 Pro.

The new smartphone is being released in two colour options, Midnight Silver and Ocean Blue. Now, there is also the X2 Pro Master Edition in Brick and Cement finish which is exclusive to the 12GB+256GB variant.

The pricing Realme has fixed for the Realme X2 Pro in China are as follows;

For the 6GB+64GB variant, it is CNY2,699 (Rs 27,000 approx.); the 8GB+128GB variant goes for CNY2,899 (Rs 29,000 approx.) and the 12GB+256GB at CNY3,299 (Rs 33,000 approx.); the Master Edition referred to above with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is also priced at the same CNY3,299 (Rs 33,000 approx.).

It is not known if all these variants will be brought to the Indian market also on November 20. However, even at the highest price point of around Rs 33,000, other brands like the OnePlus and Redmi could be up for tough competition.
