Panasonic launches new lightweight P99 smartphone at Rs 7,490

Panasonic India on Thursday expanded its 'P series' of devices with the launch of P99 smartphone that comes with 16GB ROM, 8MP auto-focus rear camera and 5MP front camera for Rs 7,490.

The device has been designed to offer a perfect integration of performance, speed and looks. 

The Dual-SIM device weighing 145grams, is now available in champagne gold, black and blue colour variants.

"We are happy to announce P99 with improved display and various front and back camera modes. The new device is equipped with upgraded version of Android 7.0 Nougat so that you can multitask and are connected to the world. This new launch will expand consumers' choice of mobile phones in this price segment," said Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India, in a statement.

Panasonic P99 has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.25 GHz Quad-core Processor coupled with 2GB RAM. 

Running on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the device's internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB and it packs 2,000mAh battery. 

The P99 is 4G VoLTE enabled and connects you faster with the world. You can use various applications, stream videos and do much more without waiting for the content to buffer. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
