Huawei launches 4G-enabled Honor Holly 3+ with 13 MP camera, 3100 mAh battery

Chinese telecommunications major Huawei launched the successor to its budget smartphone Holly 3 in the Honor range called the Holly 3+.

There isn’t much improvement on the Holly 3+ except for a bigger RAM and more internal storage.

The design features a patterned plastic back panel, very similar to the Holly 3.

Speaking of the specifications, the Honor Holly 3+ is a 5.5-inch smartphone with an IPS LCD display that comes with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It runs on a 1.2 GHz Kirin 620 octa-core CPU processor.

It measures 154.00 x 77.10 x 8.45 and weighs 168 grams.

Coming to the storage, unlike the Holly 3, the Holly 3+ comes with 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory, which can be extended up to 128 GB. The Android 6.0 OS on the Holly 3+ is slightly disappointing given that many budget phones too are being released with Android 7.

In terms of connectivity, the phone features a dual SIM setup which supports 4G.

Speaking of the camera, the Honor Holly 3+ has a 13-megapixel rear and 8MP front camera.

The phones comes with sensors such as Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The Honor Holly 3+ is powered by a 3100mAh non removable battery, which is pretty good for a budget phone, given that biggies like the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with only a 3000 mAh battery while S8+ features a 3500 mAh battery.

All these features in the Honor Holly 3+ come at a price of Rs 12,999 and is available both offline as well as through ecommerce websites.
