Automation Anywhere joins hands with ICT Academy to help reskill students

Automation Anywhere, on Wednesday signed an MoU with ICT Academy at the 43rd BRIDGE Conference, to help students reskill in more than 500,000 RPA related courses in the next two years. The collaboration will further strengthen the objective to develop RPA related skills amongst students by deploying a range of education, training, and certification programs across 400 colleges to accelerate cloud-related learnings across ten states, some even in rural parts of India. 

ICT Academy is endorsed and recommended by NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India Aayog), the National Planning body of Government of India, as one of the unique organisations for dissemination and replication, aligned to the Skill India Vision of the Government of India.

“Education providers and students in India need to be at the forefront of the digital transformation revolution across the nation. Imparting next-gen technical skills amongst students is a critical cornerstone and deeply related to the future of digital workforce development. Our association with ICT Academy is a step towards creating a strong and empowered future workforce of India,” said Milan Sheth, EVP - IMEA, Automation Anywhere. 

Automation Anywhere University (AAU), the training and certification arm of Automation Anywhere, has trained more than 500,000 developers, business analysts, partners, and students in RPA. The program has expanded at an accelerated pace globally with more than 65 authorised training partners, 300+ academic institutions, continuing education programs, and professional associations.

Commenting on the collaboration, M Sivakumar, CEO of ICT Academy, said, “Indian industries have already gained pace in the adoption of Robotic Process Automation. The technology has started to shift the gears of Indian industries across sectors. With this partnership, we look ahead to develop the RPA skills among the faculty members and students across the country, including rural India.”

All the leaners joining through ICT Academy’s learning initiative will access learning content hosted on Automation Anywhere University (AAU). The program provides role-based learning and courses ranging from beginner to expert level, and offers one of the most comprehensive RPA training and industry-recognised certifications to help get ahead as well as yield new careers in RPA.
