April Fools’ Day Special: Play Pac-Man on Google maps! (not a prank)

Written by : TNM Staff

Google does have a funny bone. They make fun doodles, and plays awesome April Fools’ Day pranks. Google also has a game embedded in its browser Chrome, which turns into a dinosaur game when offline. And this April Fools’ Day, Google has given us the option of turning Google Maps into Pac-Man.

The game can be activated by clicking on the pink Pac-Man button on the right on the screen. On desktops, there is a Pac-Man tab at the bottom.

The feature is not entirely new, and it was released first in 2015. But it is reported that unlike the 2015 version, the feature does not turn your current location into Pacman, but a random location in the world – although apparently, Apple users are able to choose the location.

The web version allows you to click on your own location in the world and choose where you want to play it.

The game is not very easy, since the real world streets are not simple and straight.

You get 5 lives before you lose.
