Prithviraj's Ennu Ninte Moideen

Actor Prithviraj has posted the first location photograph of his upcoming much awaited movie Ennu Ninte Moideen.

Ennu ninte Moideen is a Malayalam film directed by R S Vimal, based on a real life Hindu-Muslim love story of Moideen and Kanchanamala, which had happened in 1960's in the backdrop of Calicut. Prithviraj and Parvathi Menon share the screen in the lead roles as Moideen and Kanjanamala.

The movie revolves around the real life story of Moideen and Kanchanamala who fell in love when they were at their primary school in the village of Mukkam in Kozhikode in 1960s. Since inter-religious marriages were a taboo then, Kanchana was kept under house arrest for 22 years. Moideen, who was a socio-political activist died in a boat mishap in the river Iruvanjippuzha in 1982. This had shattered Kanchanamala who later attempted to commit suicide. But Moideen’s mother had helped her to come back to life.

The film also features Bala, Tovino Thomas, Lal, Thalaivasal Vijay and Lena in substantial roles.
