Critically acclaimed actor, Johnny Depp was apparently drunk on stage at the Hollywood Film Awards, which took place last night in Los Angeles. Depp was on stage, stumbling and unsteady on his feet while presenting an award to a Shepp Gordon for being named the best talent manager in Hollywood.

The actor was also slurring in his speech and was clearly having trouble reading the teleprompter. He was swearing a lot too, which the broadcasters, CBS, had to censor out of. Finally, having had enough of Depp’s behaviour, CBS cut him short by switching to a clips package.

Audience members as well as fans are still speculating whether the actor was actually drunk or was just acting, as Depp is known for his eccentric behavior. No statements have been released by the actor or his spokespersons.
